Before The Typhoon

 As much as we want to say otherwise, typhoons are regular visitors of our country. There is an average number of 20 typhoons that enter the Philippines every year. Now, I want you to imagine this: you just heard on the news that there's a typhoon coming. What should you do to prepare for it? As the saying goes, prevention is better than cure. And to prevent severe damage, you need to remove as much vulnerability as possible. Below is a list of the things you can do before the typhoon comes:  So maybe you can't do all of those. You can share this blog or whatever it is that you've learned with the people who can, like your parents or your older siblings. But we still believe that you can do something. After all, being informed is the first step to taking action.

During The Typhoon

 During typhoons, and any other disasters at that, the number one thing you should do is to keep calm. And you can only stay calm if you know you've prepared enough. Now, did you?  Going back, why should you stay cool-headed? You will only be able to think properly and act accordingly if you keep your composure. And during disasters, the way you think and act are significant factors of your safety. To save you a bit from the thinking part, here is a list of the things you should do during a typhoon:  So maybe you can't do all of those. You can share this blog or whatever it is that you've learned with the people who can, like your parents or your older siblings. But we still believe that you can do something. After all, being informed is the first step to taking action.

After The Typhoon

 After the typhoon is the only time you can say whether you did right or not before and during the typhoon. But let's save the reflecting part for later and start recovering and minding our safety first. After all, floods don't usually subside as soon as the typhoon leaves. Below is a list of the things you should do after the typhoon:  So maybe you can't do all of those. You can share this blog or whatever it is that you've learned with the people who can, like your parents or your older siblings. But we still believe that you can do something.
